i2S Display Energy Certificates All public sector organisations who occupy more than 1000m2 need to show a Display Energy Certificate (DEC) in a prominent place that is clearly visible to the public by 1 October 2008. Failure to display a valid certificate will attract a fine of £500. The law will be enforced by trading standards officers who can apply additional fines for failing to have a current Advisory Report. All public sector organisations must act now to ensure compliance.
